Fr. Matthew Mirabile was a Priest in the Charismatic Episcopal Church, which he recently resigned from after 15 years. He is now in transition to the Orthodox Church where he plans to continue his ministry.  He was a missionary in Amsterdam, NL and did cross cultural studies with the Amsterdam School of Missions. He continued studies at St. Michael’s Seminary in Classical Pastoral Care and is studying psychology through Liberty University.  He is a certified Spiritual Director trained at the Center for Spirituality and Justice in New Rochelle New York. He also has certificates in addictions and clinical pastoral care.  He has spent the last several years studying and integrating the writings and methods of soul care of the Eastern Orthodox Tradition, particularly the desert fathers, into his ministry.

He is a “Spirit filled” Christian who has studied and practiced Inner Healing for many years and employs the gifts of the Holy Spirit in his ministry. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and Spiritual Directors International.
His experience brings together a unique skill set that combines inner healing ministry, spiritual direction, biblical pastoral counseling and orthodox therapy – all grounded in solid orthodox Christian theology.
