Welcome to the Center for the Cure of Souls. What we call "Christian Counseling" is Soul Care in the ancient tradition and includes spiritual and biblical counseling, spiritul direction, inner healing ministry, soaking prayer, spiritual interventions, guidance and the Sacraments. We offer a Christian alternative to modern psychology that is rooted in the long continuum of Christian care for the human person. We also seek to bring that ministry and authentic spiritual formation to the wider church. So please take some time to familiarize yourself with our unique approach. What is Soul Care?
When God created mankind He breathed into Adam and he became a living soul ( Gen 2:7 KJV). Each one of us does not merely have a soul, we are souls. In fact we are one psychosomatic whole – spirit, intellect and body. The Cure of Souls is the ministry of guiding the whole person to health and growing into His image. The practice of Soul Care took many forms in the past, it was an integrated discipline. Our ministry also integrates all of the historic aspects of Christian soul care. You can visit the Soul Care page to learn more. Who is it for?
Our ministry is for anyone who is struggling with life and for anyone who wants to overcome barriers to personal growth. It is for those who want to deepen their spiritual life. If you struggle with an addiction we can help you get the help you need. If you are dominated by a sin, fear, anxiety, or anger we can help. If you feel like you are a failure, if you have debilitating thoughts and feelings that rip you up inside we have the experience to help. We work best with men and mens issues and much of our marriage counseling focuses on building a strong husband and father who is emotionally engaged in his family and is overcoming passivity and failure. Strong men heal families. We have years of working with people with addictions and life-controlling problems. We can help you overcome. It's a hard road to recovery, and God is the source of a new start. We will not give up on you along the way. We understand addiction from the inside out. To learn more visit the Our Focus page.
